Yes, its july
Yes, its July. Yes, I have been slacking! Between surgeries, 2 super sick friends, family stuffs, well we have been kinda busy! Dave retired as did my sister, and we have been doing tons to the house. I know, I missed a whole bunch of BDays, but happy happy to all of you, and I will be better. Or, try anyways ;-)
So! Another thing keeping us busy is this girl. Cricket. Added to The Driscoll Gang, she sure has kept us on our toes. Lets just say that Dave and I are the ultimate in Foster Failures and we wear that proudly.

Well, its been a minute, but we lost this boy some months back. This guy! He was so special. He was the best boy, best patient, and never ever once complained about his insulin shots or daily testing. He was a Once In A Lifetime boy. But we are so grateful that he waited until we were back from Hawaii.
Rest In Peace Big Brown Dog. And thank you for sending all the feathers.

There is a gladness to this day. Today is Busters 4th Gotcha Day! He came from a great place called Rescue Me. We love him so much and are really grateful we found him. So, while today is a sad day because we lost Lola, its a glad day because we found Buster.

Rest in peace little girl. Mixed with the gladness of today is a sadness. Her name was Lola, but we called her Weasel - I called her Miss Fluffy Potato Butt. She was rescued off of the streets as a pup, and lived the cush life with my mom. She came to live with us when mom got sick, and we have had her since. Today, 2+ years later, she joined my mom in heaven. She made it to over 16. I hope she knew we loved her, and we did our best for her.

Meet Remi!
Our family has a new pup! Or should I say Jake and Kiana do. After the loss of our Arlo, Remi found a spot in their home. So Sweet!
Well, after a bit of a rough start, our boy is doing better. Finally got him on the right Insulin, and now, just fine tuning the dose. We sure do love this guy!
Rest in Peace Arlo. Our hearts are breaking.
My new obsession! I love baking it. Love giving it away.
